If you stopped Paxil cold turkey .. how long they felt the withdrawl / shit like?
I'm on day 26 .. and just wondering how over time may have felt the withdrawal of the drug. I have underlying problems of the nervous system and is difficult to know if I still have the withdrawal or if the underlying issues are the ones causing the problems now. (Severe joint pain, muscle aches, irritability, headaches, nausea, etc) Thanks in advance. I tried the decreasing (40 mg to 20 mg) and had worse withdrawal symptoms .. I could not handle it and ended up going back to full dose, that was about 6 months .. this time I just stopped all together and I am feeling better, I'm moody but not depressed at all .. only the physical pain is what bothers me.
NEVER QUIT SIMPLE taking Paxil. The "monkey" is the most cruel method of approach and poses severe health risks. Nobody in the medical community encourages this approach. Paxil maker GSK also reported in against. Just do not. *** The risk to your health by quitting absolutely does not arise solely from the gridlock, but also an abandonment that include at least a gradual reduction in dose over a period of several months. Therefore, if you are in 20 mg and down to 0 mg in a month, you are withdrawing too quickly. ***

I have a 5 month old that I breastfeed (supplimenting with the formula) I was fine for a while, but now I came back to work (waitress, 3-4/wk) I'm so tired sometimes I can not get out of bed. I can control my TSH and well. I take multiple vitamins, and vit C daily. Please tell me what I can do.
After cancer thyroid, I felt the same. My endo dr. insisted he had depression and prescribed antidepressants. My family doctor insisted that I had depression post-partum and she also prescribed antidepressants. So I started taking antidepressants. My TSH was 0.01 at the time, completely suppressed. I felt better on antidepressants, but still not completely better. I changed doctors and the new thought my TSH was too low. I thought there's no such thing as too low when you have cancer thyroid. endo again asked if I was sure it felt good. I said, "Yes, I suppose. But I take antidepressants." The new endo said, "I would like thyroid dose reduced a bit and see if you feel better? "I thought why not …. Now my TSH is 0.10 WALK. I can take a slightly lower dose of cialis. No take any anti-depressants. And I feel great! I know it sounds weird but there is a point where they are so chemically hyperthyroidism (super low TSH) which actually begins to feel tired / sleep / restless / aching / etc. Try dropping your dose a little. See if that helps. mari

Has anyone been diagnosed with fibromyalgia? Dr. Post said viral condition? Joint and muscle pain, rashes, insomnia, Fatigue?
Although many doctors are skeptical, and there is still no definitive proof, the symptoms and the fact that your doctor tells you that your viral message indicating that he may think it's Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, also known as ME (encephalomyelitis ME), PVFS (post viral fatigue syndrome) or CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome IMUNE dysfunction). Consult your doctor for clarification, if what you have, how lucky you are diagnosed early. Have mainly to do your own research and find a doctor who is friendly and not skeptical. You need to learn at their own pace and it limits what you can do before you get tired. There is still much to know about it. I had at least 12 years, the last 8 as I often severely bedbound, but was diagnosed last year. I have a friend who had intensity mild to moderate and made a full recovery, but it took four years. If your doctor tells you to rest, no joke. Request a referral specialist in this state, not just a neurologist.

Aspartame is an artificial sweetener used in diet soft drinks and some food with little fat. About a year ago I had stiffness joints (to the point where I could bearly move), headaches, my vision was blurred changes, mood, and I felt really bad. Went to the doctor and routine tests were performed. My doctor was at a loss – all tests were normal. I woke up Aspartame on the internet and found a long list of effects side. Needless to say, I stopped drinking diet soda, stop eating food and any products related to the artificial sweetener aspartame. Almost everything I ate or drank had some aspartame in it, so they took some of abstinence. Splenda is a natural sweetener safe and use it all the time. There are diet sodas made with Splenda like 7-Up Plus (which is the only thing I found so far). As for chronic cough may be a side effect. I also had chills and hot flashes. Look Aspartame on the internet up and give you about 3 pages of side effects related to it. Good luck! Oh, yes, I feel great now.
You had my symptoms? Joint pain, fatigue, memory loss?
Blood work normal Practic general. office. Inexplicable fatigue / drowsiness, weakness, joint stiffness, pain, popping, muscle pain (it hurts to scratch an itch and only in the legs), short term memory loss term. Can anyone tell me what you think it is!?
I recommend you try to get tested for Lyme disease. This condition is known as the "great imitator "and many people have been diagnosed with diseases like Parkinson, FM, AD, etc. You are describing classic symptoms, including loss memory and itching. My brother had Lyme and was incredibly tired and tingling of the arms and legs – was too sore and weak too. Your doctor may ask if you have had an eruption of the target – it is an indicator, but is not present in the world – only 40% (they say 90%, but this is false) of course, only a title can be said. Good luck!

I know this is not very helpful, but …. Why ask me what the hell kind of question on "Yahoo Answers? You are very unlikely to very useful information here. The use of a web site medical / forum for such specificity. Mayoclinic.com, webmd.com, including Yahoo Health would be a more appropriate place to investigate problems with that type of specificity. Yahoo Answers is actually a very broad appeal (and usually poor) for this sort of thing. Here, many if not most, responses result in spam.
My border collie is 11 years with arthritis .. He has only three legs, one of which broke when I was little and hit by a car and screwed .. Sometimes in the carpal bones and all the little bones that contribute to the lower leg extremities. pain relief for dogs with arthritis, joint aid for pets,
Why do I have pain in the joints, and what is causing it?
I have only 18 years old, almost 19. I ran on foot for 6 years and made the park a lot of things very hard on my knees and, recently, this past year I have been getting what I can only describe as pain joint. It's a pain in the knee that is not muscular and my doctor said there were growing pains. So I have arthritis in the knee joint?
Ask your health care provider as soon as possible (rheumatologist). That depends on your symptoms. Cold reduces swelling and inflammation and relieves pain better than the heat (even alternating between hot and cold provides more relief for some people.) But the cold can increase the stiffness. Heat relaxes muscles and tendons and promotes circulation, making it the best option to promote joint mobility. Finally, heat and cold can help each one of gentle muscle spasms. Whatever method you choose, follow these precautions: Apply heat or cold for only 15 to 20 minutes at a time, leaving the skin to return normal temperature before reapplying. Place a cloth or towel between the skin and the heating device or cooling. Stop immediately if your skin or blisters becomes either dark red or mottled red and white. Do not use heat or cold-damaged skin. And they are useless if you have poor circulation, nerve damage or a condition that can cause any of these problems, like diabetes, Raynaud's disease or vasculitis. Otherwise, acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen, as long as it feels much pain. Listen to the message of pain and try not to do anything to aggravate the pain. If you have arthritis, make sure you take your medicine as shown .. I hope this helps. And good luck.
My grandmother Hurtz knee joints like crazy …… no solution to it?
My grandmother is eighty years old and his joints are increasingly weaker every day, especially his two knees, which are really suffering. In fact, my heart aches to see his deteriorating condition, which used to be able to limp his way around, but now he can barely walk …… Knee and health supplements for the ligament does not seem to work, or maybe this is something juz that elderly have to be patient as they get older …… anyone out there with experience care to share their solutions, and even offered me some things that my grandmother can do, I would like to thank you in advance because I really do not know what else I like a grandchild can do to relieve your pain ……
There is no reason for her to deal with this pain. There are so many things they can do. His shots are put more cushion in the joints and their surgeries are including the total replacement knee. If surgery is not an option that can do more to control their pain, it is evident interfearing in the quality of your life. Nobody should have to deal with pain if you must. My grandmother's brother just total knee replacement and said he wanted me he had done before. You may also receive physical therapy see if that helps. Most creams and other supplements do not help because it is usually the cushion in the joint or the joint itself. They are now where they can replace injections cushion in the joints. steroid injections may also help. Even if surgery is not an option that needs to get help with the pain. If a physician brace can not help her then see a specialist in pain management. My other grandmother who is 95 going on hot air balloon, taking cruises, etc. She takes medication for joint pain. See how you can help at home, show her that much you love and hopefully I can get some help.

I had diarrhea two weeks before. After ok.But taking drugs now I'm feeling stomach cramps again?
I had diarrhea two weeks before. After ok.But taking drugs now I feel cramps in my stomach again. Also I have a slight fever, allergic skin rash, joint pain in a few places and a sore throat and dizziness little light after 4 days … Please give me advice.
You want advice? Here it is: GO TO THE DOCTOR, NOW! I'm not yelling at you, so do not be offended, please. I am very serious, however, with a rash and joint pain, this is not something to fuck with. I do not know where you live, but this sounds serious. Allergic rashes are nothing to take lightly! Especially when you've had diarrhea for two weeks. Stop taking the medication diarrhea, also can sometimes do more harm than good (taking into bacteria, where it should go!) It is necessary to get this diagnosis, does not sound like a simple case of the flu. If necessary, go to the emergency room. Get an ambulance to pick you up, if you are too ill to drive or not at all. Please do it for me, do it for your own health – go to the doctor, stat!
I stuck my left index finger in 4 weeks to play rugby, and its still in pain when I put pressure on this subject (in the junction between the palm and fingers). The first week I decided to ignore it and continue to play guitar, week 2 and I stood still cracks in its place, and I have been resting since. You should see a doctor? I have an aching pain on each side of the bone or joint or something … is the type of hip bone, in the leg, and it only hurts when I lay on my side or walk, which is really irritating because I have to sleep on my side! I'm on prednisone for pneumonia, but not the same type of pain usually gets from prednisone, as I have been there before and this pain has also happened before. Please help: (thanks:)
Hello. I am a physical therapist. It sounds like you may have hip bursitis. There is a bag that sits on the exterior of the hip. If this is inflamed, it can cause painful walking and sleeping at his side. I recommend trying to use the ice in the area to minimize pain. Ice for 10 minutes several times a day. If walking is also possible to reduce for now and try to sleep on the other side with a pillow in between your knees. For more information about hip bursitis, click the link below. I hope this will help.
Does anyone have any house / the-counter remedies for hormonal migraines and significant in all body and joint pain that occurs with migraines all the time (within 3 days) to be my period? Seeing a doctor is not an option at the time that I lost my health insurance and can not take estrogen because of my mother having had a form of breast cancer is related to estrogen therapy. Thanks for all the suggestions.
I have hormonal migraines and the only thing on the counter I've found that helps is two extra strength aspirin, ibuprofen (400 or 600 mg) and a can of real cola, coca full of sugar. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it is really close on migraine medication. Caffeine helps and I think the liquid in the coke is also useful. You can mix Tylenol with ibuprofen, which work differently. I talked to my gynecologist and he thinks it's great, but I suggested trying the "cocktail" before a migraine comes on, as a prophylactic to tackle the headache before begins. I can not time my cycle closely, but I'll try. It feels better.
Why is not known that glucosamine sulfate works better? Is it because the pharmaceutical industry does not want people to know? Glucosamine has also been used for years by veterinarians to treat arthritis in dogs horses and other pets.

About five days ago I went on a trip with a group of my friends and play in pool. My friends and I played "chicken" game in the pool and one of my friends were sitting on my shoulders to play. I was a little nervous sitting there primarily because he felt a little uncomfortable for my neck, and of course, accidentally moved my neck and my head flew forward in the water. Early in my neck had a slight pain and irritability, but while the past days has worsened and become more painful. 2 days ago began experiencing joint pain in the feet, legs, arms and hands. I saw the doctor yesterday and he said it was only a stiff neck and did not break my neck (which I). I am concerned that my painful joints may be said that damaged a nerve in my spinal cord? (I hope not!) But I'm pretty sure that of this. I feel this pressure and pain on this particular point behind my neck. Please help me! I need advice!
My sister on a road roller coaster last year at an amusement park. Experienced pain and this coupled with inflammation in joints and severe discomfort in the neck and other joints. Caught the first thing you love about stroke whisk or simply fatigue. Doctor said the same thing after a week my mother called to consider other explanations, because my sister had no relief. After blood tests determined that my sister had Lyme disease. She never had any symptoms before this is bulls eye or anything whatsoever. Do not say you have, but only you know your body and you are worried or the pain that you need to get a second and third opinion. Good lucky!
